FAQs

How long will it take for my order to ship?

Ready to ship orders typically head home to you within 3 business days. Dyed to order items will ship within 2 weeks.

Shipping notifications are generated when the shipping label has been purchased/printed. This means your package will be picked up/sent to the post office same day or the following day. Tracking info will be updated by USPS as your package travels to you. For international orders, tracking info is only available while the package remains in the US. Once your package leaves the US, tracking info is no longer available.

You can choose from First Class or Priority shipping. If you believe that your package has gotten lost in the mail, please refer to the tracking info provided on the USPS website.  I cannot be responsible for lost packages.  I suggest purchasing additional insurance if this is a concern to you.

Do you take custom orders?

I do not dye up custom colorways, however, if there is a colorway you see on the colorways page or in the shop that is not available on the base you need, just shoot me an email and we can talk about creating a custom order for you.  In most cases, I am able to accommodate these special requests.  However, depending on schedule and yarn base availability, there may be occasions where I am unable to complete custom orders. But it doesn't hurt to ask!

Do you accept returns/exchanges?

My goal is for you to be happy with your purchase! If you receive your yarn and you are not satisfied with it for any reason, I will gladly accept a return or exchange for ready to ship items.  You are responsible for return shipping.  Items must be returned in the original packaging and in new/unused condition. I cannot accept returns on custom orders.

Can I pay for my yarn in installments?

Yes! I've added Afterpay as a payment option for anyone who wants to break up their purchase into 4 equal interest free installments. Check out as normal and select Afterpay as your payment method.

Is it normal for the color to bleed when I soak my yarn?

All of my yarn is thoroughly rinsed after dyeing. While all of the colors are colorfast, some bleeding is normal with highly saturated colors. Flourescent colors, reds, pinks and purples have a tendency to bleed a little for the first few washes. However, if you notice an excessive amount of color bleeding or it persists after a few washes, please let me know!

Where do you dye your yarn?

I have a small, dedicated dye studio in my home. Yarns are kept away from pets/kids and stored in a safe space until shipping.  I do have a Golden Retriever. He is furry and fluffy and oh, so loveable. While all my yarn is kept far away from the dog, I do find his dog hair in the strangest of places! I do my best to ensure that all yarn is dog hair free (each item is inspected thoroughly before shipping), but I cannot guarantee that a stray hair or two might be included in your package. If you are highly allergic to dogs, I would recommend purchasing yarn elsewhere.

Can you cake my yarn?

For sure! Email me if this is something you'd like.  Please note: caked yarn is non-refundable/no exchanges.

Do you wholesale?

I am not currently accepting wholesale orders.
